Nairobi National Park is situated 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the central hub of the capital. Established in 1946, it encompasses 114 square kilometers (44 square miles) of unspoiled savanna, hosting a diverse array of migratory wildlife. The park is situated between the Nairobi-Mombasa railway and the residential area of Langata.
